Objective: To explore the effect of high-quality nursing in postoperative nursing of acute appendicitis in children. Methods: a total of 100 children with acute appendicitis admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to March 2022 were selected as statistical objects. Randomly divided into routine group and experimental group, 50 patients in each group were given different postoperative nursing methods. The routine group was given the routine nursing scheme, and the experimental group was given the high-quality nursing scheme. The pain score of facial expression, the incidence of complications and the recovery time of postoperative signs were compared between the two groups before and after nursing. Results: before nursing, there was no difference in facial expression pain scores between the two groups (P > 0.05). After nursing, compared with the routine group, the scores of facial expression pain and the incidence of complications in the experimental group were lower (P < 0.05). Compared with the conventional group, the recovery time of postoperative signs in the experimental group was lower, P < 0.05. Conclusion: high quality nursing intervention in postoperative care of children with acute appendicitis can effectively reduce the pain and shorten the recovery time. It is recommended to popularize it.
