Objective To explore the effect of targeted nursing for children with pneumonia. Methods the researchers selected 60 patients from March 2021 to July 2022, all of whom were selected from the Pediatrics Department of our hospital. According to the difference of nursing methods, they were divided into the research group (targeted nursing) and the control group (basic pediatric nursing). The average number of patients in each group was 30. The pulmonary function, symptom improvement and satisfaction of the groups were compared. Results before treatment, the pulmonary function of the children in the study group was poor. After treatment, the pulmonary function of the children in the study group was significantly improved. The value of the 6-minute walk test was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05); In the study group, the symptoms of pneumonia subsided quickly and the length of hospitalization was shorter (P<0.05); The satisfaction scores of children and parents in the study group were significantly higher (P<0.05). Conclusion the whole process of targeted nursing in the treatment of children pneumonia can significantly improve the symptoms of children, shorten the hospitalization time, and improve the satisfaction index of children and their families.
