Objective To explore the effect of psychological nursing for angle-closure glaucoma (acute). Methods From December 2020 to March 2022, a total of 60 participants were randomly divided into the intervention group to implement psychological care; In the control group, there were 30 patients in each group. The adverse mood, length of hospital stay, changes of intraocular pressure and pain degree of glaucoma patients in the two groups were compared. Results The patients with glaucoma in the intervention group had weaker mood and lower mood scale score (P < 0.05). The total length of hospitalization in the intervention group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, and the iOP and average iOP at each stage were significantly lower, P < 0.05. Patients in the intervention group had stronger compliance and higher pain relief efficiency, P < 0.05. Conclusion Psychological nursing for patients with angleclosure glaucoma (acute) on the basis of conventional treatment can obviously relieve pain symptoms, improve patients bad mood, adjust intraocular pressure, improve the effective rate of treatment.
