Objective To summarize and explore the perioperative nursing points of ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy for patients with ureteral calculi complicated with hypertension. Methods From January to Decem- ber 2021, 68 patients with ureteral calculi complicated with hypertension who came to our hospital were selected for investigation. All the patients who participated in this investigation were treated with soft ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy. During the perioperative period of treatment, nursing intervention was combined to sum- marize and explore the key points of perioperative nursing. At the same time, patient care outcomes were sum- marized retrospectively. Results Retrospective analysis was conducted to summarize and explore the treatment of 68 patients who participated in the investigation. According to the statistics, 62 patients were successfully operated in stage I, with a success rate of 91.18%. There were 6 cases of stage ⅱ operation, and the success rate was 8.82%. After the operation, 5 patients developed fever, including 3 cases with body temperature higher than 39 degrees and 2 cases with body temperature higher than 38 degrees, with a fever component ratio of 7.35%. Postoperative complications occurred in 1 case, the incidence rate was 1.47%. The duration of hospitalization of the patients in the study ranged from 1 day to 12 days. Conclusion 68 patients were successfully operated without serious compli- cations. Correct, effective and meticulous nursing interventions in the perioperative period can help patients safely and smoothly through the perioperative period, reduce postoperative complications, shorten the length of hospital stay, and in some cases improve the patients economic pressure.
