With the vigorous development of rural tourism, tourism enriched has become an important way of rural rejuvenation in China, but due to blind development, lack of overall planning, some rural tourism still has many problems such as unreasonable planning ecological resources utilization and lack of local characteristics. In the pursuit of high quality of life, people also hope to experience the characteristics of various places through rural ecological tourism, constantly broaden the vision of tourism and improve the experience of tourism. Landscape planning and design are very important in the development of rural eco-tourism. The development of tourism landscape combined with the unique characteristics of rural areas is conducive to promoting the reasonable development of rural eco-tourism construction. Through the analysis of the significance, principles and problems of rural eco-tourism planning and design, this paper puts forward the landscape planning and design strategy of rural eco-tourism development, which highlights the characteristics of regional productization, maintains the ecological environment resources reasonably and optimizes the landscape planning and design mode.
