Objective To analyze the effect difference of different nursing methods in perioperative period for patients undergoing carotid artery stenosis endarterectomy, and to explore the effect of predictive nursing on preventing postoperative complications in such patients. Methods From February 2021 to February 2022, part of the patients receiving carotid artery stenosis endarterectomy treatment in our hospital were selected for comparative nursing, and the number of patients in each group was kept equal. The control group was routine nursing, and the research group was predictive nursing, and the nursing effect and postoperative complications were compared. Results (1) the quality of life and mental state of patients before and after nursing were scored, there was no significant difference before nursing (p > 0.05), but the ability scores of patients in the nursing group were more excellent (p < 0.05); (2) There was significant difference in the probability of side effects between the two groups after nursing (P < 0.05); (3) In terms of nursing satisfaction, patients in the study group were more satisfied (P < 0.05). Conclusion Complications after carotid artery stenosis intimal stripping will affect the treatment effect. Under predictive nursing, more comprehensive nursing guidance can be implemented for patients, which is forward-looking and can improve the quality of life and psychological state of patients, and can be popularized and applied.
