Objective to analyze the effect of risk nursing on intertrochanteric fracture patients in orthopaedics department. Methods from January 2020 to January 2022, 86 patients with intertrochanteric fracture were randomly selected and divided into groups according to the way of clinical nursing, that is, experiment and control. The number of patients in each group was 43. The control group received routine nursing, the experimental group received risk nursing, and the related indexes were compared. Results the patients in the experimental group had a much higher level of disease knowledge than those in the control group, and the incidence of pressure ulcer in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The recovery time of bowel sounds, the first exhaust time and the first defecation time of the patients in the experimental group were earlier than those in the control group. Statistical calculation of the data of the two groups showed that P < 0.05. Conclusion the application of risk nursing in the nursing of intertrochanteric fracture patients in orthopedics department can improve the surgical indicators of patients, reduce the possibility of pressure ulcer, and let patients master more knowledge.
