In the process of clinical nursing teaching, pathology and pathophysiology is a more important course. Through the effective study of this course, it can help students to grasp the characteristics of the disease more intuitively and clearly, so as to provide more effective nursing intervention for patients in the follow-up clinical work, and achieve the purpose of promoting the recovery of patients. With the continuous advancement of education system reform, ideological and political education has become the most important teaching content in the teaching system, which plays an extremely important role in cultivating students ideological and political literacy and comprehensive ability. And ideological and political education has become the most core content of every major and every subject in the daily teaching process. It is more necessary to integrate ideological and political education into the teaching process of nursing professional pathology and pathophysiology, and carry out ideological and political education to students in the process of routine teaching, so as to achieve the purpose of cultivating students comprehensive ability. This study focuses on the reform and practice of ideological and political teaching in the teaching process of nursing pathology and pathophysiology under the new teaching background.
