Objective: To explore the application effect of holistic nursing in patients with brucellosis. Methods: 64 patients with brucellosis received in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were randomly selected as the research objects. The research objects were divided into reference group and observation group by random number table method, with 32 patients in each group. The reference group and the observation group were treated with routine nursing and holistic nursing respectively. The nursing satisfaction, quality of life and pain degree of the two groups were compared. Results: the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the reference group, and there was significant difference between the groups (P < 0.05). The quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the reference group, and there was significant difference between the groups (P < 0.05). The pain scores of the observation group on the third day, the seventh day and the 14th day after the intervention were (3.22 ± 1.20), (2.54 ± 1.26) and (1.76 ± 0.45) respectively, which were lower than those of the reference group. The difference between the groups was significant (t=4.967, 3.752, 6.409, p<0.001).Conclusion: the application of holistic nursing in the nursing intervention of brucellosis patients can improve the quality of life and nursing satisfaction of patients, which has clinical application value.
