【Abstract】 Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of sedative and heart-invigorating pill auxiliary treatment of refractory insomnia. Methods: 80 cases with refractory insomnia form Jan. 2012 to Jan. 2015 were chosen, who were divided into two groups, the control group had 39 cases, who were given traditional western medicine treatment, the observation group had 41 cases, who were given sedative and heart–invigorating pill auxiliary treatment. The relevant indictors changes were observed. Results: The heal rate of the control group was 23.08%, the total rate was 79.49%, while the observation group were 36.59% and 92.68%, which had significant difference (P<0.05). The sleep quality, sleep time, sleep time, sleep efficiency and sleep disorder scores of two groups after treatment were decreased. Compared with before treatment, which had significant difference(P<0.05). Compared with control group, the sleep quality, sleep time, sleep time, sleep efficiency and sleep disorder scores of observation group after treatment were more significant, which had significant difference(P<0.05). The Hypnotic drug use frequency, hypnotic drug use total dose, complications incidence and treatment time of two groups after treatment had significant difference(P<0.05). Conclusion: The sedative and heart-invigorating pill could improve the clinical efficacy of refractory insomnia.
