【Abstract】Objective To observe the effect of continuous drainage of lumbar cistern drainage on the anxiety and depression of patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Methods We selected 64 cases of spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage in our department, were randomly assigned to two groups, control group was given intermittent lumbar puncture drainage, observation group given spinal cistern set tube continuous drainage, before treatment and after treatment for 5D by anxiety self rating scale (SAS), depression self rating scale (SDS) evaluation of two groups of patients with anxiety and depression. Results There was no significant difference in SAS and SDS scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05). After surgical treatment, the SAS scores of the two groups were decreased, the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.777,P<0.05); SDS scores were also decreased, but the observation group was significantly lower than the control group, SDS score was significantly lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.622,P<0.05); Postoperative complications after the treatment of symptomatic treatment, the condition was improved, no death case. The incidence of complications in the observation group was 25%, the control group was 66.67%, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with lumbar puncture and drainage, lumbar cistern drainage can improve the postoperative anxiety and depression of patients with SAH, and it is worth to be popularized and applied.
