【Abstract】 Objective:To study The effect of aripiprazole and risperidone on glucose and lipid metabolism in cognitive function and quality of life. Methods: 86 cases with schizophrenics in our hospital from December 2014 to December 2015 period were researched, according to the random number table they was divided into treatment group and control group, 43 patients of each group. Control group were treated by risperidone. Observation group using aripiprazole and risperidone. They were compared with after treatment effect, changes in cognitive function and GQOLI-74 score. Results: After treatment, the patients weight and body mass index of treatment group increased compared with before treatment, but there was no significant difference (P> 0.05). Treatment group with WMS and MMSE score was significantly higher than that before treatment, and the associated ratings and scores between the patients in the control group was statistically significant (P <0.05). Treatment group in physical function, role function, social function, and other aspects of cognitive function scores compared with the control group, there was significant difference (P <0.05). Conclusion: Combined effect of aripiprazole risperidone clinical treatment of patients with schizophrenia alone risperidone treated fairly. But the united aripiprazole treatment on cognitive function in patients with good improvement, and can effectively improve the quality of life of patients, is safe and effective.
