Abstract
Employee satisfaction serves as a vital indicator of corporate internal management, which is directly linked to employees’ job performance and enterprises’ capacity for sustainable development. Through literature retrieval, this paper systematically sorts out domestic and international research findings on employee satisfaction. It defines the concept of employee satisfaction, classifies individual and corporate factors affecting employee satisfaction, and summarizes scholars’ optimization strategies covering salary and performance appraisal, management systems, employee career development, incentive mechanisms, benefit sharing systems and other dimensions, as well as practical limitations in existing research. Meanwhile, this paper identifies deficiencies of current studies regarding the adaptability of evaluation systems, coverage of research subjects, research methodologies and theoretical construction. On this basis, future research should strive to build a flexible and adjustable universal basic framework, together with implementable and promotable solutions tailored to the actual demands of different enterprises and employee groups. Expanding the coverage of research subjects and optimizing research design will provide theoretical references for boosting employee satisfaction and facilitating the sustainable development of enterprises.
