Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of bundled nursing mode on sleep quality and quality of life of patients with ICU syndrome in emergency intensive care unit. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 56 ICU syndrome patients from July 2024 to February 2026, who were randomly assigned to Group J (28 cases, receiving bundle care) or Group C (28 cases, receiving conventional care). The study compared the two groups in terms of pressure ulcer risk, impaired consciousness, sleep quality, and quality of life. Results Before nursing, both groups had similar Braden and Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) scores, Pittsburgh Sleep Index, and Quality of Life scores (P>0.05); After nursing, both groups showed an improvement in scores and a decrease in indices, but the Braden and GCS scores, as well as the quality of life score, were significantly higher in group J than in group C, while the Pittsburgh Sleep Index was significantly lower in group J than in group C (P<0.05). Conclusion The bundled nursing model has a more prominent effect on the sleep quality and quality of life of patients with ICU syndrome in the emergency intensive care unit, and is worth promoting.
