Objective To analyze the application value of Heinrich’s Law in the nursing safety management of cardiac surgery operating rooms. Methods Sixty patients undergoing cardiac surgery were selected, with the selection period ranging from January 2025 to December 2025. They were divided into two groups of 30 each using the odd-even number method. The control group received conventional nursing management, while the experimental group received nursing safety management guided by Heinrich's Law. The effects were compared. Results (1) In the scores of various nursing quality indicators, the experimental group was higher than the control group, P < 0.05; (2) The incidence of adverse events during cardiac surgery was 26.67% in the control group and 6.67% in the experimental group, with the experimental group showing a significantly lower rate, P < 0.05; (3) In terms of nursing satisfaction, the rates were 73.33% and 96.67% respectively, with the experimental group having a higher level, P < 0.05. Conclusion During the treatment of cardiac surgery, to improve nursing quality and ensure patient satisfaction, nursing safety management guided by Heinrich's Law can be adopted in clinical practice. This approach is effective in reducing the incidence of various adverse events and is worthy of promotion.
