Objective To explore the application effect of centralized nursing mode in patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI), and its impact on the stability of vital signs and the prognosis of neurological and motor function. Methods 64 TBI patients who met the screening criteria and visited our hospital were randomly divided into an observation group (receiving centralized nursing, n=32) and a control group (receiving routine nursing, n=32). Compare the changes in basic vital signs, neurological deficit score (NIHSS), Fugl Meyer motor function score (FMA), Barthel index, and incidence of complications between two groups after intervention. Results After 7 days of intervention, the temperature, pulse, and mean arterial pressure of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group (P<0.05). At discharge, the observation group showed significantly better neurological deficits, FMA lower limb scores, and Barthel index than the control group (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group (6.25%) was significantly lower than that in the control group (25.00%) (P<0.05), indicating a significant reduction in risk. Conclusion Centralized nursing can effectively stabilize the vital signs of TBI patients, reduce complications, and significantly promote the recovery of neurological and motor functions.
