Objective To explore the effect of diabetes health education on the treatment compliance of endocrine nursing patients. Methods 64 patients (from 2024.7 to 2025.7) were randomly divided into the observation group (32 cases, diabetes health education) and the control group (32 cases, conventional endocrine nursing). The treatment compliance, blood glucose indicators, health cognition, and self-care ability of the two groups were compared. Results The treatment compliance of the observation group was higher (96.88% vs 81.25%) (P<0.05). Comparisons of FBG, PPBG, and HbAlC showed that before nursing, they were comparable (P>0.05), and after nursing, they decreased and the observation group was lower (P<0.05). Comparisons of the four health cognitions showed that before nursing, they were comparable (P>0.05), and after nursing, they improved and the observation group was higher (P<0.05). Comparisons of ESCA showed that before nursing, they were comparable (P>0.05), and after nursing, they improved and the observation group was higher (P<0.05). Conclusion For diabetes patients, conducting diabetes health education on the basis of endocrine nursing can further improve the treatment compliance of patients, with better blood glucose indicators, higher health cognition scores, and effectively enhanced self-care ability. It is worthy of application.
