Objective To analyze the application effect of comprehensive nursing for patients with schizophrenia complicated with hypertension during the treatment period, and to provide suggestions for patients' healthy life. Methods 80 patients with schizophrenia complicated with hypertension who were treated in our hospital from January 2025 to June 2025 were selected. The odd and even visit numbers were used to divide the patients into two groups. The odd-numbered patients formed the control group and received routine care, while the even-numbered patients formed the observation group and received comprehensive care. The nursing effects were compared. Results The blood pressure indicators of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was significant (P < 0.05); in addition, the quality of life score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The effect of comprehensive nursing for patients with schizophrenia complicated with hypertension is remarkable, which is helpful to improve the blood pressure problem, improve the overall mental state, and has a good living standard. The intervention effect is definite.
