Objective This study aimed to evaluate the effect of auricular point pressing with beans combined with systematic emotional nursing on alleviating nausea and vomiting in patients with vertigo syndrome. Methods 120 patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing and drug therapy, while the observation group received additional auricular point pressing (selecting points such as Shenmen, Sympathetic, Stomach) and emotional nursing. Results The improvement in nausea and vomiting symptom scores, frequency of episodes, and Dizziness Handicap Inventory (DHI) scores in the observation group was significantly superior to that in the control group. The total clinical effectiveness rate and nursing satisfaction were also higher. Conclusion This combined intervention can effectively relieve symptoms, reduce vertigo-related functional impairment, improve clinical efficacy and patient experience, and possesses clinical promotion value.
