[Abstract] Objective To investigate the quality of life of patients and complications of liver and lung disease PICC catheter used in negative emotion, cognitive behavioral interventions. Methods 82 cases of liver and lung disease were treated with PICC lines were randomly divided into two groups, 41 cases each. Control group underwent routine care intervention, observation group underwent cognitive behavioral intervention, compared two groups of intervention SAS score, anxiety, quality of life scores before and after the intervention and complication rate situation. Results After observation group intervention SAS scores than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the degree of anxiety after the intervention group was observed lighter than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the observation group after the intervention body function, cognitive function, emotional function, role function, social function and general health score after higher in the intervention group was observed pain, fatigue, and nausea and vomiting scores than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The complication rate in observation group than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Cognitive behavioral interventions used in liver and lung disease in patients with PICC lines can significantly reduce anxiety, improve quality of life and reduce the incidence of complications, worthy of promotion.
