[Abstract]Objective:To study the application effect of continuity synchronous family nursing of elderly patients with diabetes in community. Methods: The study selected 96 cases of elderly patients with diabetes mellitus from March 2015 to March 2016 in community hospital as the object, according to hospital admission, the cases were divided into family group (48 cases) and general group(48 cases).General group members implemented community hospital routine nursing process and health guidance, family groups accepted synchronous family health education measures under the guidance of nurses. Results:The scores of psychological anxiety, compliance awareness, involved in the treatment of active degree and communication in general group were lower, family group was significantly higher than that of general group, had the significant difference(P<0.05); compliance behavior, interpersonal relationship, family harmony, exercise, reasonable diet quality of life rating scores in general group was lower than that of the family group, the difference had statistical significance(P< .05). Conclusion:The clinical characteristics of diabetes have determined that we need to guide the home care of elderly patients with diabetes. For diabetic patients, in addition to receiving hospital care and treatment measures, the implementation of continuity of hospital nursing, the nursing staff and provide the significant role of family of synchronous health education measures, after nursing intervention, most of patients with adverse psychological well improved and the quality of life is better.
