The rural revitalization strategy was put forward in the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Colleges and universities can take this strategy as an opportunity for development and carry out tourism professional education in combination with local tourism characteristics. Based on Jiangxis tourism environment, resources and cultural background, this research analyzes the current situation of tourism professional training in colleges and universities, and puts forward the talent training path under the strategic development of rural revitalization according to its shortcomings. It mainly starts from curriculum setting, employment guidance, social services, talent training programs and other aspects. I hope it will be beneficial. Innovate the training model of tourism professionals in higher vocational colleges and promote the training of applied talents.
