Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of pediatric tuina combined with thunder fire moxibustion in the treatment of pediatric spleen deficiency diarrhea. Methods Sixty children with spleen deficiency and diarrhea admitted to our pediatric department from May 2024 to May 2025 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using a random number table. The control group received routine treatment with montmorillonite powder combined with bifidobacteria triple active bacterial tablets, while the observation group received treatment with pediatric massage combined with thunder fire moxibustion. Compare the clinical efficacy and symptom relief time between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group; The observation group had a shorter recovery time for stool frequency, improvement time for stool characteristics, disappearance time for abdominal pain and bloating, and appetite recovery time compared to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of pediatric tuina and thunder fire moxibustion has a definite therapeutic effect on children with spleen deficiency and diarrhea, and can quickly relieve clinical symptoms, with high promotion value.
