【Abstract】 Objective To explore the correlation between anxiety and depression during chemotherapy and post-traumatic growth in oral cancer patients. Methods Clinical data of 80 oral cancer patients admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected. According to whether all patients had anxiety and depression during chemotherapy, they were divided into a combined group (n=50) and an unconjugated group (n=30). Evaluate and compare two groups of Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self Rating Depression Scale (SDS), and Posttraumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI). Use Spearman rank correlation analysis to examine the correlation between SAS, SDS scores, and PTGI scores during chemotherapy in oral cancer patients. Results The SAS and SDS scores of patients in the combined group were higher than those in the non combined group, while the PTGI scores were lower than those in the non combined group, with statistical significance (P<0.05); There is a negative correlation between SAS, SDS scores and PTGI scores during chemotherapy in oral cancer patients, and P<0.05. Conclusion Anxiety and depression during chemotherapy are closely related to post-traumatic growth in oral cancer patients, and clinical attention should be paid closely.
