Result: In this study, 173 (88.27%) of the 196 patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma undergoing chemotherapy had depression, while 23 (11.73%) had no anxiety; There was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05) in the incidence of depression among patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma undergoing chemotherapy at different ages; There was a statistically significant difference in depression among patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma undergoing chemotherapy, including different marital status, chemotherapy awareness, work status, monthly family income, place of residence, educational level, and payment methods for medical expenses (P<0.05); The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that marital status, chemotherapy awareness, work status, monthly family income, place of residence, education level, and medical expense payment method were all influencing factors for depression in patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma undergoing chemotherapy, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The incidence of depression in patients with mid to late stage lung adenocarcinoma undergoing chemotherapy is relatively high.
