[Abstract] Objective To perform a diagnostic analysis of frontal lobe CT on both sides of adolescent depression patients and explore the neuropathological mechanisms of adolescent depression. Methods Cranial CT examination was performed on 150 cases of adolescent depression from May 2021 to July 2024, and the cranial CT data of 150 cases of health checkups paired with general data were included, and the depression group as well as the normal group were set up respectively. Compare the frontal lobe CT values on both sides of the two groups. Comparison of frontal lobe CT values of both sides of patients with different degrees of depression, age, gender and duration of disease in the depression group. Results The mean left frontal lobe CT value of the depression group was significantly lower than that of the normal group (P<0.05). The difference in mean right frontal CT values was not significant (P>0.05). The left frontal lobe CT values were lower in the severe depression group than in the mild-moderate group, and the left frontal lobe CT values were lower in the ≥3 years disease duration group than in the <3 years disease duration group (P<0.05). The difference in left frontal lobe CT values between different ages and genders was not significant (P>0.05). The difference in right frontal lobe CT values between different depression Chengdu and different disease duration was not significant (P>0.05). Conclusion Left frontal lobe changes are more pronounced in adolescent depression patients than in the right side, as evidenced by decreased CT values, and the degree of decreased CT values may be related to the degree of depression, the duration of the disease, and so on.
