【 Abstract 】 Objective: to study the characteristics and differences of  behavioral and psychological symptoms between Amnestic type and non-amnestic type mild cognitive impairment. Methods: a total 63 of amnestic type mild cognitive impairment patients and 54 of non-amnestic type mild cognitive impairment patients were selected between January 2012 to March 2016 in our hospital outpatient and hospitalization as the research object, using the neural mental questionnaire to evaluate symptoms of two groups of patients with mental behavior characteristics. Results: the MMSE score of group A was significantly lower than group B (P<0.05), group A’s ADAS - COG score was significantly higher than that in group B (P<0.05). The memory factor score in group A was significantly higher than that of group B with statistically significant difference (t = 4.730, P < 0.001). The language factor score in group A was significantly higher than that of group B with statistically significant difference (t = 3.126, P < 0.001). The concentration factor in group A is significantly higher than that of group B (P<0.05). The group A with a higher abnormal sleep behavior and appetite rate than that of group B (P < 0.05). The group B patients of agitation, indifference and inhibition ratio was significantly higher than group A with statistically difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the non-amnestic type mild cognitive impairment patients were superior to the amnestic type mild cognitive impairment patients, the amnestic type MCI patients of sleep behavior and appetite had higher percentages than the amnestic type MCI patients. However, the agitation, indifference and derepression rate of non-amnestic type MCI was significantly higher than amnestic type MCI patients.
