Abstract Objective To explore the values of preoperative psychological intervention to improve the restoration effect for the patients with esophagus cancer. Methods 45 cases and 42 cases of patients with early stage esophagus cancer before and after preoperative psychological intervention implement were divided into experiment group and control group. The control group were nursed by routine nursing, the experiment group were nursed by preoperative psychological intervention based on the control group. The nursing efficacy were observed. Results The levels of SBP, SBP, HR for the experiment group 30min before into the operating room and 30min after into the operating room were lower than the control group(P＜0.05); The SAS score and S-AI score for the experiment group 1d before the operation were lower than the control group(P＜0.05); The hospital stays and hospitalization costs for the experiment group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05); The nursing satisfaction for the experiment group were higher than the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion It can improve the vital signs indicators and anxiety state of perioperative period for the patients with esophagus cancer by preoperative psychological intervention, it can cut down the recovery time and increase the nursing satisfaction. It has high application value.
