【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the effect of cluster-based care on the sleep disorder and mental status in patients with rheumatic heart disease (RHD). Methods Totally 70 cases of RHD patients with sleep disorder in our hospital from February 2015 to June 2016 were collected and randomly divided into research group and control group,each with 35 cases.The scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), Medical Coping Style Scale (MCMQ) and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) before and after intervention between the two groups were compared. Results After the intervention ,the scores of HAMA and HAMD in the research group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); After the intervention ,the scores of MCMQ and PSQI in the two groups were significantly improved than before intervention,and the improvements in research group were significantly better than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Cluster-based care can effectively improve the quality of sleep and related psychosocial factors in patients with RHD, it is worthy of popularization and application.
