Against the background of the "Going Global" strategy for culture, Confucius Institute (Chinese-English Version) Journal, as a core carrier for the global communication of Chinese cultural discourse, the English translation quality of its 2021-2025 corpus directly affects the effectiveness of international communication and is crucial to the accurate delivery of China's narrative system in the English-speaking world. Based on the Acculturation Theory and the "Integration of Translation and Communication" theory, this study adopts text analysis and case study methods, selecting three types of cultural discourses (material, institutional, and spiritual) from the journal as empirical objects to analyze existing English translation dilemmas: cultural default caused by literal translation, attribute ambiguity due to free translation, and connotative distortion of spiritual discourse. The study finds that the "integration model" is the optimal choice for English translation, and accordingly proposes category-specific strategies: "literal translation+cultural annotation" for material discourse, "free translation+attribute limitation" for institutional discourse, and "paraphrase+contextual connection" for spiritual discourse. Additionally, a three-dimensional guarantee mechanism ("system-talent-feedback") is constructed. This study can provide reference for the English translation practice of Confucius Institute (Chinese-English Version) Journal and similar external publicity publications. It enriches the theory and paths for the global communication of Chinese cultural discourse and contributes to the international expression of China's narrative system.
