Abstract
With the acceleration of population aging in China, traditional elderly care models face severe challenges, making smart elderly care an important direction to address aging. College students are a driving force for innovation and entrepreneurship, possessing unique advantages and potential in the field of smart elderly care. This study focuses on college students in Anshan, analyzing their awareness of smart elderly care, willingness to engage in innovation and entrepreneurship, and influencing factors through a questionnaire survey. The results show that while college students generally have a good understanding of the concept of smart elderly care, their comprehension is not deep; their willingness to innovate and start businesses is relatively high, but they face obstacles such as mismatched majors, lack of skills, and insufficient resources. Based on these results, this paper proposes pathways to promote college students' participation in smart elderly care innovation and entrepreneurship from four aspects: policy support, educational guidance, platform building, and industry-education integration, providing a reference for promoting industry development and high-quality employment for college students.
