【Abstract】 Objective To study the clinical symptoms and nursing measures of children with viral encephalitis with psycho - behavioral abnormality.Methods Analyzed the data and nursing points of 117 cases of viral encephalitis diagnosed by our hospital from March, 2012 to March, 2016.Fifty-seven children with abnormal mental and behavioral disorders were selected as the observation group. Sixty children without psychiatric disorder were selected as the control group.Compared symptoms and adaptive behavior of the two groups.Results In the observation group, there were 29 cases of childrenwith"movement disturbance" and "disturbance of consciousness", which was significantly higher than that of the control group.In the control group, there were 45 cases with headache and fever, which was significantly higher than that of the observation group. In the control group, childrenwith the neurological signs were less than those in the observation group. After the nursing, the total score of adaptive behavior in the observation group was 35.72 ± 10.51, whichwashigherthanthatof the control group (27.56 ± 8.81) (P <0.05), the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion Children with mental and behavioral disorders are often characterized by disturbance of consciousness and movement disorders. Clinical nursing is the main way to promote consciousness recovery and improve adaptive behavior in children with viral encephalitis.
