[Abstract] Objective To analyze the effect of depression score and rehabilitation of neurological symptoms by piribedil combined with escitalopram in patients with Parkinson disease and depressive disorder. Methods 100 cases of Parkinson disease with depressive disorder were selected in our hospital during 2013-2016 and divided into 50 cases of control group received piribedil and 50 cases of experiment group underwent piribedil and escitalopram. Unified Parkinson’s disease rating scale and Hamilton depression scale were measured to analyze patients’ depression disorder and rehabilitation of neurological symptoms. Results After 14d of treatment, unified Parkinson’s disease rating scale of the two groups were significantly lower than that of before treatment (P both<0.05), but no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05); Hamilton depression scale of the control group showed no significant difference before and after treatment (P>0.05) while the score in the experiment group reduced significantly (P<0.05). After 42d of treatment, unified Parkinson’s disease rating scale and Hamilton depression scale of the two groups were significantly decreased than that of before treatment(P both<0.05) and there were obvious differences between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Piribedil combined with escitalopram treatment can effectively reduce depression score in patients with Parkinson disease and depression disorder, which can improve depression symptoms and promote the recovery of neurological symptoms so it is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
