Abstract Objective: To research depression, anxiety, personality and coping model and its related factors of patients with burning mouth syndrome（BMS）. Methods: 80 cases with Burning Mouth Syndrome were selected from January 2014 to January 2016 in our hospital as study group, and 80 healthy cases were selected as control group, Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS), Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS), Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-Revised，Short Scale for Chinese(EPQ-RSC), Medical Coping Model Questionnaire(MCMQ) and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS )were used to evaluate symptom. Compare and investigate the between the symptoms. Results: Depression and anxiety of study group were significantly more than the control group（P<0.05）. Symptom were positively correlated with both depression and anxiety. Avoidant and compliant coping style were positively correlated with depression, Psychoticism, neuroticism and concealment personality were positively correlated with both depression and anxiety（P<0.05）. Conclusion: BMS patients are complicated with different degrees of anxiety, depression, personality and coping model obstacle symptoms. The symptoms do not exist independently, and the psychological barriers will increase the physiological symptoms. So the treatment need to focus on psychological intervention in clinical.
