Abstract: Objective: To observe the application effect of Newman health mode in depression delirium patients in rehabilitation nursing after surgery. Methods: Randomly selected in January 2015 ~2016 year in January in our hospital 178 cases of patients with fracture surgery, were randomly divided into observation group (n=89) and control group (n=89), the control group were given conventional intervention, the observation group was treated with Newman health model intervention, compared two groups of patients with depressive delirium incidence. Results: the observation group depression delirium incidence was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05 group); depressive delirium patients with depression score were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05); observation group depression delirium patients body function, psychological function, social function and material function and quality of life scores markedly higher than the control group (P<0.05); observation and nursing of compliance group depression delirium patients were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:The application of Newman health mode, can significantly reduce the degree of depression in patients with depression delirium after surgery, improve the quality of life of patients, and improve the compliance of nursing, worthy of promotion in clinical use.
