Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effect of wardmate team support on negative emotions and rehabilitation exercise compliance of patients with stroke hemiplegia. Methods: 132 cases of stroke hemiplegia were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 66 cases in each group. Patients in Control Group were performed routine nursing intervention, based on this, patients in Observation Group were also given wardmate team support. After 3 months of intervention, the anxiety-depression degree, rehabilitation exercise compliance, self-care ability of daily living and other indexes of the two groups were compared. Results: After 3 months of intervention, scores of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS) in Observation Group were significantly lower than in Control Group(P<0.05); the compliance rate 89.39% was significantly higher than 71.21% in Control Group(P<0.01); the score of Activities of Daily Living (ADL)was significantly higher than in Control Group(P<0.01), the basic self-care ability 53.03% was significantly higher than 27.27% in Control Group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Wardmate team support is conductive to relieving negative emotions in patients with stroke hemiplegia, enhancing rehabilitation exercise compliance and improving activities of daily living.
