Objective To explore the effect of family doctor contract service in the implementation of community nursing management for diabetes patients. Methods: 120 patients with diabetes received in our community from January 2019 to December 2020 were taken as the objects of this analysis. The included patients were divided into two groups by double-blind random method for nursing research. The group included the experimental group and the control group, with 60 patients in each group. The patients in the control group were given routine follow-up care, and the patients in the experimental group were provided with contracted services from family doctors. The final nursing effects of the two groups were compared in detail. Results: the quality of nursing management, the mastery of health knowledge and multi self-efficacy of patients in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group. The blood glucose level of patients was significantly improved compared with the control group, the quality of life was significantly higher than that in the control group, the satisfaction of patients and their families was higher than that in the control group, and the complication rate was lower than that in the control group. The difference of various index results between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the family doctor contract service for diabetes patients is effective and worth popularizing.
