[Abstract]Objective:To study the application effect of psychological nursing measures for elderly patients before operation in department of orthopedics.Methods:40 cases of elderly surgical patients in Department of orthopedics of our hospital from January 2014 to January 2015 were set as control group and were provided general perioperative nursing care for patients, 40 cases of elderly surgical patients from February 2015 to February 2016 in Department of orthopedics were set as the psychological group,on the basis of routine nursing care,preoperative psychological nursing measures were emphasized,observed two groups of patients with psychological anxiety and nursing satisfaction.Results:The satisfaction rate of the control group was 67.5%,the psychological group was significantly higher(95.0%),P<0.05.Two groups of patients in the hospital when the tension anxiety,treatment enthusiasm,worry mood,sleep quality and other indicators had no significant difference,both appeared obvious anxiety,P>0.05.After psychological nursing,psychological group patients above indicators score results were lower than the control group,psychological group patients with anxiety were effectively improved,P<0.05.Conclusion:Most of the elderly patients before the clinical surgery will have some psychological adverse emotions,before accepting psychological intervention measures,patients with high satisfaction and psychological anxiety has improved.
