The closure segment construction of long-span bridges constitutes a critical phase in bridge engineering, with its quality directly determining the structural stability and durability of the entire structure. Effective supervision of closure segment construction requires not only strict adherence to technical protocols but also coordinated efforts across multiple aspects including on-site management, quality inspection, and technical support. This paper examines key management requirements for critical phases in closure segment construction from a supervision perspective, covering quality control, technical implementation, schedule management, and equipment maintenance. Research demonstrates that meticulous supervision practices can significantly reduce construction risks while enhancing both the overall quality and efficiency of bridge projects.
