Abstract
Objective To explore the practical application value of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in surgical nursing teaching under the background of "Internetworking +." Methods The baseline data of 58 nursing interns admitted to the hospital's surgery from 2024.05 to 2025.04 were collated. The two teaching methods were evaluated using a random lottery to divide during the teaching of surgical care into a reference group (regular surgical nursing teaching, n = 29) and an observation group (PBL + micro-lesson teaching, and n=29). Results The scores of theoretical knowledge, skill operation and self-evaluation in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The proportion of the students in the observation group satisfied with the combined teaching was 96.55%, which was much higher than that in the control group (82.76%). Conclusion Based on the "Internet +" context, the incorporation of the PBL + micro-class model in the teaching of surgical nursing helps to fully improve the theoretical and practical capabilities of nursing interns, and the overall teaching satisfaction is satisfactory, which is worth promoting.
