【Abstract】 Objective To observe the effect of music relaxation exercise therapy (MRT) combined with motor imagery therapy (MIT) on psychological status and functional status in patients with hemiplegia after stroke. Methods Eighty-six patients with hemiplegia after stroke were enrolled,patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group,43 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional rehabilitation and care,the observation group was given MRT and MIT on the basis of control group.The scores of Barthel index (BI), Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA),Functional Ambulation Category Scale (FAC), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) between the two groups were compared after 8 weeks of intervention. Results After intervention,the scores of SAS and SDS in the two groups were significantly decreased,and those in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05);The scores of BI, FMA and FAC were significantly increased, and those in the observation group were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion MRT combined with MIT can effectively reduce the anxiety and depression, improve the motor function and daily living ability of patients with hemiplegia after stroke, and can promote the physical and mental rehabilitation.
