[Abstract] Objective To investigate the impact of transitional care intervention on postoperative anxiety and depression in patients with head and face plastic surgery.Methods Totally 92 patients who underwent head and face plastic surgery were randomly divided into observation group and control groupm,46 cases in each group.The routine care was provided for the control group,on this basis the transitional care intervention was provided for the observation group.The Hamilton Anxiety - Depression Rating Scale (HAMA,HAMD), Medical Coping Modes Questionnair (MCMQ), Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) and postoperative satisfaction scores between the two groups were compared.Results After intervention, the scores of HAMA, HAMD,each dimension of EPQ, avoiding and yielding coping of MCMQ in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), while the face-to-face coping score of MCMQ was significantly higher (P<0.05); After intervention,the satisfaction scores of surgical effect, nursing work, quality of life and self-confidence satisfaction were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Transitional care intervention has positive impact on personality characteristics and coping modes of patients with head and face plastic surgery,it can improve the anxiety and depression of patients and effectively improve their postoperative satisfaction.
