Objective To analyze the value of doxofylline + Yangyin Qingfei Decoction in the treatment of chronic emphysema in the elderly. Methods From October 2023 to October 2024, a total of 126 elderly patients with chronic emphysema in our hospital were selected. According to the principle of random grouping, the number of patients in each group was 63. Among them, the control group was treated with doxofylline, while the observation group was treated with Yangyin Qingfei Decoction on the basis of the control group. Through rigorous scientific methods, the therapeutic effects of the two groups of patients were deeply analyzed in order to provide a scientific basis for clinical treatment. Results After treatment, the efficacy, lung function, blood gas indexes, adverse reactions, and quality of life values of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The selection of doxofylline + Yangyin Qingfei Decoction in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic emphysema is effective and feasible.
