Objective To analyze the medical value of applying high-risk drug warning label management in hospital drug management. Methods 100 patients who received routine management services from July to December 2022 were selected as before implementation, and another 100 patients who received high-risk drug warning label management services from August to December 2022 were selected as after implementation to compare management efficiency and medication error probability. Results After management, the prescription preparation time was better than the control group, and the patient medication collection time was better than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05) in the comparison of indicators. After the implementation of management, the probability of prescription medication errors such as over medication, under medication, and medication mismatch is lower, and the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of high-risk drug warning labels in hospital drug management can improve the speed of drug preparation, reduce drug management errors, and ensure safe drug use.
