Objective To analyze and observe the comprehensive treatment effect of neonatal hypoglycemia combined with jaundice. Methods Sixty neonates with hypoglycemia and jaundice admitted to our hospital from January 2024 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional therapy (phototherapy + blood glucose treatment), while the observation group was treated with comprehensive therapy (on the control group + traditional Chinese medicine bath). The recovery of children after treatment, the incidence of adverse reactions and the satisfaction of parents in the two groups were compared. Results The recovery conditions of the observation group (time for blood glucose recovery, time for jaundice to subside, time for fetal stool to turn yellow and hospital stay) were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction of parents in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of neonatal hypoglycemia combined with jaundice, the comprehensive treatment of phototherapy and traditional Chinese medicine bath has a significant effect and is worthy of wide promotion and application.
