Objective To investigate the stress management and psychological experience of family members of children with febrile seizures, and explore the clinical value of implementing targeted intervention measures. Methods 92 family members of children with febrile seizures admitted to our hospital were selected as the subjects, from May 2024 to July 2025. Conduct a survey and evaluation of all family members of the affected children using the Family Stress Scale (RSS), Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), and Self Rating Depression Scale (SDS), and analyze their stress status and psychological experience. Adopt targeted interventions based on the evaluation results, and compare the changes in RSS, SAS, and SDS scores before and after the intervention. Results The RSS, SAS, and SDS scores of all family members of the affected children were at a high level before intervention. After implementing targeted interventions, the RSS, SAS, and SDS scores of family members significantly decreased compared to before the intervention, with statistical differences between groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Family members of children with febrile seizures are accompanied by significant stress reactions, anxiety, and depression. Targeted interventions can alleviate their stress reactions and negative emotions.
