| Abstract |
Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of Yiqi Huoxue Recipe on the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus with cerebral infarction of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome and its effect on blood glucose, blood lipid, quality of life, depression score and neurological deficit. Methods 110 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with cerebral infarction of qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome from January 2015 to October 2016 year in our hospital were selected as the research object. They were randomly divided into observation group and control group, each 60 cases. The control group received routine treatment, while the observation group accepted with Yiqi Huoxue Decoction treatment. The clinical efficacy, the degree of neurological deficits, fasting blood glucose (FBG), 2 h postprandial blood glucose (2hPG) and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc); two groups were compared before and after treatment of Epworth sleepiness scale (ESS), Fugl-Meyer score (FMA), Barthel index (BI) score, depression score and quality of life were observed after 14 d. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of control group (x2=11.23，P＜0.01); After treatment, the ESS, FMA and BI of observation group were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05); The physical function, psychological function, social function scores of observation group were higher than that of control group (P<0.05); After treatment，the FBG, 2hPG and HbAlc levels reduced(all P <0.05), the improvement of observation group was significantly better than the control group (P <0.05); There was significantly difference of HAMA score, HAMD score (t=7.31, 8.35, P < 0.05); serious drug-related adverse events were not found during treatment in 2 groups. Conclusions Treatment of type 2 diabetes senile cerebral infarction of qi deficiency and blood stasis recovery period is safe and effective, reduce blood lipid, promote the recovery of neural function, improve the quality of life and exercise, depression, is worthy of promotion.
