Objective To explore the effect of clinical nursing pathway on the recovery period of anesthesia in patients after general anesthesia. Methods A total of 52 patients were selected as the research subjects in this study. All patients were in the recovery period after general anesthesia and came from our hospital. The time period was from February 2024 to February 2025. The study was conducted in a controlled form, so patients were divided into two groups using a random number table method. The control group consisted of 26 patients who received routine nursing care, while the other 26 patients received clinical nursing pathway. The changes in various indicators of patients under the two different nursing modes were compared. Results The recovery quality of the observation group patients was better, confirming the effectiveness of the clinical nursing pathway (P<0.05); The use of clinical nursing can effectively reduce the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group patients (P<0.05); The observation group patients believed that each link of the clinical nursing pathway was professional and had a good sense of experience (P<0.05). Conclusion The study of clinical nursing pathway has a significant effect on the recovery period of patients after general anesthesia, with good recovery quality and a decreasing incidence of adverse reactions. The recognition of clinical nursing pathway is high and worthy of clinical promotion.
