Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of bundle nursing on reducing the incidence of postoperative position related complications and improving comfort in elderly patients with urological frailty. Methods Sixty elderly patients with urological frailty who underwent elective surgery under general anesthesia in our hospital from January 2025 to June 2025 were selected. The patients were randomly divided into a reference group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The reference group received routine perioperative care, while the observation group received bundled nursing interventions based on routine perioperative care. Compare the incidence of postoperative position related complications and comfort scores between two groups of patients. Results The clinical nursing effect, posture related complications, and comfort score of the observation group were better than those of the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion Implementing bundled care for elderly patients undergoing urological surgery for frailty can effectively reduce the risk of postoperative position related complications and significantly improve patient comfort, with positive clinical application value.
