Objective To discuss and study the nursing efficacy of back meridian scraping therapy for patients with liver yang hyperactivity type headache. Methods A total of 80 patients who received treatment in our hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected for the study and divided into a control group and an experimental group. The control group received routine nursing combined with Western medicine treatment, while the experimental group received back meridian scraping combined with targeted treatment on the basis of the control group. The two groups of patients were compared in terms of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, visual simulation scores, and headache impact measurement-6 scores. Results After providing different intervention measures, the experimental group had better TCM syndrome scores than the control group, p<0.05, Assess the level of pain in patients, the experimental group was lower than the control group, p<0.05, The impact of headache on patients was evaluated using a score of -6, and the experimental group was lower than the control group, p<0.05. Conclusion Providing effective nursing care during the back meridian scraping treatment for patients with liver yang hyperactivity type headache can improve clinical symptoms, alleviate headaches, and promote recovery, which is worthy of promotion.
